Discounts are available for Seniors and there is a Chair Yoga class and a Mat based Yoga class. These classes are guided from the beginning to end each week. I’ll be watching You and helping you find you safest and best way to practice each week. Reading from “When Things Fall Apart” by Pema Chodron. This is a good listen to my reading of “When Things Fall Apart” it gives us lots to think about. This book offers advice and tools to help us settle and strengthen ourselves to manage the emotional rollercoaster of the social injustices and atrocities. Some may think Yoga & Meditation are escape mechanisms but rather they can be valuable to help us stand still and clearly look at our reality. So many people who feel they are not directly affected by racial injustices but who want to be sympathetic and helpful are asking, “but what can I do?” Yoga & Meditation helps us to find our authentic selves to have the patience and courage to feel what is there that we may have become numb and oblivious to, and to act appropriately when the time is right. In this reading it’s almost 40 minutes as I read to you 3 chapters. I first begin with showing how to do the Finger Holds, a simple but complete and powerful tool to balance our 12 major organs and bring wellness to 144 body systems. You might like to do 36 Breaths first and then hold each finger for 2, 3, 5 minutes each. You may like to use a timer. Perhaps listen while getting ready for bed, or anytime in the day/night. Listen in sections and place the video in your Watch Later folder/Youtube. If you want to get notified when the next chapters are read do click the Notification button after you Subscribe. This helps me build the channel and if you are not so interested but do still want to help me build the channel, place the video on mute and let it play to the end. But I really hope this is helpful for you and that you choose to leave me comments for dialogue, that you share with your friends and family to widen the conversation. Join me now on my YouTube channel where I offer you, virtual yoga classes. There currently are 3 classes available and one fully guided Relaxation class. I am making these videos firstly for my Purchase College students who are currently Distance Learning due to the Pandemic. However, many of my Yogini and Yogi Friends have asked about the videos and are enjoying them in the comfort of their home. Some people especially appreciate the Guided Relaxation where they can start the video and set themselves on their mat or their bed and experience a restful Savasana or Deep peaceful night sleep. During this unprecedented challenging time many of us are feeling anxious, angry, sad, unsettled about so many unknowns. If we can have a regular Yoga practice this helps us balance our minds, body, energetic patterns and in turn we can find stillness and peace. Simple steps from Sadhguru to Naturally cleanse the body

In this short Youtube video Sadhguru, the Founder of the Isha Foundation, explains a simple process for self-protection.  Isha Foundation offers a course on the ancient yogic process known as Bhuta Shuddhi, which I have participated in, but could not share with others who have not gone through the program.  So I am grateful that now Sadhguru offers for everyone ways they may naturally and freely protect themselves.  The one thing that is a cost is for a copper water vessel.  The Isha Shoppe, an online store, has good quality copper cups, vessels, containers, of course, Amazon also has products.  Please consider making your purchase from The Isha Shoppe, [www.ishashoppe.com look for the heading “Crafts”] as to keep support for the Foundation, in gratitude for all the vital help it offers yoga practitioners globally.  The Isha Foundation does have a few products available for purchase on Amazon including copper bottles, the cups, and more affordable choices are best found from The Isha Shoppe.com site. When you place your water in the copper cup for overnight charging, do cover it with a clean natural fiber cloth or a copper lid.  You may want to put a flower petal on top of the cloth for a sweet blessing, not necessary for the basic benefits.  In fact, Sadhguru describes how traditional Indian Grandmothers cared for their water vessels for the best insurance for themselves and loved ones.

I am grateful to my favorite Yoginis who share Hatha Yoga with me for their commitment to their practice, our friendship and the wisdom that is shared.  I feel enriched by our yoga asanas, kriya, pranayama and, savasana is complete, we move to the table to share tea.  In these few moments of sipping tea, offered as nectar to keep the yogic vibrations to continue to spread cellularly in the next hours, so often these lovely Yoginis share the “good stuff” that they have collected.  Yesterday I learned about a Podcast, “On Being” with Krista Tippett, so I have posted it here for you to enjoy.  When I listened to my first episode I heard mentioned a notion to consider “Dinner as Spiritual Technology” and I was delighted to have these words organized in a new way that is exciting to explore with family, friends, Yoginis and more.

You may want to subscribe to have a positive outlet.  Another valuable Podcast that I learned a couple years ago is “The Moth.” You may like to follow through YouTube and/or as an App on your mobile device.  I hope to keep collecting positive media similar to these to nurture myself and to offer as a respite for others when they are overwhelmed and may enjoy some good stuff.  Special thanks to Ada, Nellie and Binita, Namaste OM
